Have you ever heard a saying: "Bloom where you're planted" or "Bloom where God has placed you". People often misunderstand this saying with just sticking to where you are located now. The issue is your present place comes from Him or from other anything bad, sometimes Evil One.

Please open your Bible and read the following passages.
Exodus 33: 'Then the Lord said to Moses, “Leave this place, you and the people you brought up out of Egypt, and go up to the land I promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.”'

A place where you are located now should not be always the place where God has really prepared for you. You must see the place and make judgment on it.

How can you do that? Lord Jesus has already shown you with a good way.

Luke 9:5: "If people do not welcome you, shake the dust off your feet when you leave their town, as a testimony against them."

With His words in His Gospel, you need to make a testimony, that is an action or observation, to those people surrounding you. If they do not welcome the words of His Gospel, they do belong to the opposite to His Kingdom. In this case, you must leave this place, ASAP. You should not even look back at it, otherwise your soul should be destroyed as Lot's wife became a pillar of salt.

Lord Jesus is very much careful of His saying. When you hear from others about what you should do, you need to have advices from His words in Gospel.
