I chatted with VP about good vs. bad or mediocre publishers of journals yesterday. As he pointed it out, good ones are generous to allow audience to access contents without any fee or minimal burden. Meanwhile, the bad ones are greedy about earning. Unfortunately, academia has a huge number of bad publishers around the world. It may be a time to step away from those ones for myself.
