In the east yard of my garden, a couple of purple flowers of Strobilanthes oligantha - 'Suzu-mushi Bana' in Japanese have blossomed since two days before.This very lovely species is endangered to vanish from Kyoto region. Everything is disappearing now from around us due to excessive urban development. What a stupid species we are!
