The rainy season has begun here in Tokyo since the day before yesterday. It is really earlier than usual, and Tokyo and its surrounding regions have enter the season. Thus, other western and northern areas still enjoy pleasant weather in June. This is very extraordinary from the past experience. I cannot remember such a strange event that I've experienced until this year: it is rainy only in Tokyo in June. The cause of this unusual phenomenon is due to not the rainy season front but a very powerful low-pressure system existing near the seashore of Tokyo Bay. That pressure system comes down from the northern pole. At least we have to endure a week long rain until this weekend. Alas!
