Ukrainian President Zelenskyy's speech was broadcasted through the entire Japan last night. Almost all Japanese watched and listened to his address before the members of the parliament. The speech was different from what I had guessed. Actually, the simultaneous translation in Japanese that the Ukraine Embassy provided was so awful that I could not understand the address in Japanese. He should have given it in English, otherwise the Embassy staff should have translated it in English. I was very much disappointed at the way such important address was poorly translated from Ukrainian to Japanese.
