It was a chilly day here in Tokyo, and also full of surprise to me. I went out for business last month, this January. Everything looked not so bad to me; trains brought many people, young and elder as usual; and, I found many ads around the streets. But, yesterday, everything has changed during a month. No adds on the streets. Restaurants have been closed. Only elders on trains. And, even a bus stop has disappeared. I've never seen a bus stop removed from the street corner in Tokyo! The reason is very simple. Nobody rides the bus at that spot. Tokyo is shrinking now due to the ongoing pandemic. I can't imagine what should come next after that.
