Japan's CDC has just released a breaking news of finding a new variant of the COVID-19, which is originated here in Japan during the Tokyo Olympics Games. That variant has properties of the Alpha variant and the Delta variant in it. This news is a report of an on-going genetic analysis of the variant, and is before a review process of the finding. Anyway, we're still in the midst of the pandemic.
