I happened to find an idea that another COVID variant originated from India should have a great impact on America's economy and presidential campaign for 2024. A scenario is like this. The Delta Plus variant is brought from around the world to Tokyo and flows inside Tokyo Games athletes, staff, and the press. They would bring a more infective variant from Tokyo to their home countries including the States. The hyper variant Tokyo Plus is prevalent in the States, and vaccination doesn't protect people who have been vaccinated before. The number of patients surges, and stock markets face another Black Monday. And, people begins criticism against the Democrats. Finally, Trump is back! This is the nightmare No. 1 via Tokyo Olympics Games. This is not a prophecy, but I consider one of the worst scenarios for the Delta Plus variant in my opinion as a scientist.
