I am astonished to find Ranzania japonica bloom in my east yard! Its small light purple flowers have shown like two tiny stars on the ground. I've never experienced such that early blossom of this species in my life time. The air temperature has reached 77 F this noon in Tokyo. It's a record-braking high temperature in March, and ties with the record of the year of 1923, that is the 95 years ago. That year is very much impressive, because the great quake struck Tokyo and everything on the ground in the area was abolished with big fire. Hope nothing happen this year.
