I removed two photos of a Japanese camellia of the gate page from my homepage. It is the photo of the Camellia japonica - 'Kouya-Komachi', that I recently found not the original species. I am looking for that species again around the east and the central Japan.

Yesterday I found the Camellia japonica - 'Izumo-Taish Aka-Yabu' bloomed in my east yard. Its red color is quite close to that 'Kouya-Komachi', though they are different species.

Many plants in my yards have sprouts, and prepare for the coming spring. I'm excited to see their flowers this year again.
