We celebrated the Solemnity of Ascension in Tokyo. Actually most Catholic churches in Tokyo celebrate this important feast on coming Sunday. We are privileged to solemnize this feast on the very day by the grace of God. Fr. August told us in his preach that Lord gifts us with a priesthood when baptized. "You are gifted by God to live a life as a Christian day by day. At work you do the best as people accept as a partner in their community. That is the way God expects you to live a life. It is a simple way to live up with the promise of Christ in obedience to Good News". His preach is very much persuasive and powerful. I'm happy to take a seat in his preach today too.
