St. Peter's Second Letter 3:8 says, "With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day". I haven't understood the meanings yet until a developing incident was concluded with an end. Three years ago, I found a bad hygiene merchandise that I got from a food service company. I reported its violation of the food hygiene act to the authority because the company didn't admit its fault. It showed a superficial apology to the authority and escaped from sentence of fine. It has never made any proper compensation to me.
Yesterday, one of my friends called and told me that the company had been dissolved and bought out by outside investors. The past executives were all swept out of its board of directors. It's something like what Lord has done for King David by bringing Philistines against King Saul. God never allowed David to get his hands dirty. Instead, He Himself brought the sword to Saul, though it took time much more that you could expect. It's the way of the Almighty God to judge the world.
