A dining hall of Kyoto University offers separate spaces for students who come to visit there alone. The reason is very strange to me; those students would not like others to see them alone. Who cares of being alone in a college dining hall? Study harder much! In my college days, we were too busy to eat inside the hall and grabbed something at a shop and swallowed it in a class before professors came. The time has changed anyhow.
