Ronald Coase, Econ Nobel Laureate 1991, passed away at 102 years old. His great work in the area of economic analysis of law, that is Law and Economics as was later named, is the core interest in The University of Chicago in our time. I remember his smile when he finished the class and closed the book and opened the door. He is the star professor of The Law School. I'm proud of staying at Chicago for his presence therein.
