The day before yesterday, I noticed the subtle transition from autumn to winter in my garden. The Hibiscus syriacus - 'Mukuge Gion-mamori' in Japanese in the southwest yard still had green leaves and a couple of remaining flowers. Meanwhile, it was a good time to prune it for the upcoming season. After finishing everything, I was happy to see the tree looking well-prepared. It was a lovely labor well worth the sweat.
