I have not read Friedrich Nietzsche. It's wrong to say I haven't tried, but I failed to get through his works during my high school days (I gave up and turned to Blaise Pascal). Meanwhile, a phrase from his work, Beyond Good and Evil (1886) — Jenseits von Gut und Böse: Vorspiel einer Philosophie der Zukunft — remains in my memory:

"He who fights with monsters should be careful lest he thereby become a monster. And if thou gaze long into an abyss, the abyss will also gaze into thee."

This phrase perfectly describes those working on LLMs as of the year 2026.
